One of the more popular Puja pandals in the city, it is best visited in morning. Of course you will miss the grandeur of the lights but you will avoid the long queues. If you decide to go in evening be prepared to spend at least an hour in long serpentine queue before you are able to enter into the park. After this it is another 15 to 30 minutes of walk before you can see the pratima

People tend to start their south Kolkata pandel hopping from this particular pandel. But this year it wasn't extraordinary especially during the day. The night view looks better but the crowd is irresistible.

"Deshapriya Park Durga Puja"... the name is enough to Describe South Kolkata Durga Puja.... Best of The Best... Theme, Decoration, Durga Idol, Design, Handling people all are excellent.. Must-visit place for everyone who wants to visit South Kolkata during Durga Puja... Security is also good during Durga Puja season... I will recommed everyone to visit Deshapriya Park Durga Puja Pandal... Thank you 🙏😍🫶

Huge area but reaching here is troublesome due to unnecessary detours..The Pujo pandal theme 2022- Haldia's Mahishadal rajbari. They even made sculptures of pigeons inside the rajbari pandal, looking absolutely lively. Pratima is simple yet beautiful 🙏 Also they have several food stalls from the exit point. …
